Leadership Bios

Bryan Wirthlin, Founder and President

After demonstrating solid leadership at well-known Enterprise Performance Management companies, Bryan Wirthlin launched SandPoint Consulting in 2001. His goal was to help companies better utilize the financial and operating information available to them through the use of enterprise performance software. Under his direction, SandPoint has become a leader in implementation, optimization and support for SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation, formerly called OutlookSoft.

Bryan’s approach to enterprise performance is firmly tethered to a strong company ethics platform, which encompasses integrity and professionalism as well as a client-centric focus.

Bryan is a Brigham Young University graduate.  He and his family live in Metro Detroit, where Bryan also serves as the North Star District Chairman of the Boy Scouts of America.

Brian Tyson, BPC Solution Architect and VP of Training

Brian Tyson is a BPC Elite Certified consultant and an expert at BPC implementation on both the NetWeaver and Microsoft platforms. As a solution architect, he specializes in leading the design and architecting of BPC solutions. He is actively involved in BPC elite training courses, and also directs the client and consultant training programs at SandPoint. Brian has ten years of experience in corporate finance and accounting.

Brian is a graduate of Wright State University in Accounting.

Jerry Argabrite, VP of Consulting

Jerry is an experienced leader in implementing performance management solutions.  He has significant management experience and over nine years of BPC implementation experience. He developed a broad skill set through experience in public and corporate accounting, consulting, and entrepreneurship. As VP of Consulting, Jerry oversees SandPoint’s consulting engagements.

Jerry is a graduate of California State University in Northridge in Accounting. In addition to being a certified SAP BPC consultant, he is also a CPA.

Phil Johnson, VP of Business Development

Phil is a seasoned business development professional, with broad expertise in the leadership and account management processes.  His career has focused on EPM solutions. Phil has held business development positions at Compshare, OutlookSoft, SAP, and now leads the business development effort at SandPoint.  Phil is a graduate of Michigan State University.
